Reflections : Week 2 (Macbeth)

Summary - Macbeth was a successful general/lord that had just defeated foreign invaders, then he and his friend banquo meet 3 witches who tells them their future (Macbeth will become king, but so will Banquo's kids) Macbeth then murders King Duncan and Banquo and eventually he even murders Macduff's family. In the end, he is defeated by Macduff and Banquo's children become king.
Reflection - For me, Macbeth was a beautiful play that showed just how much greed, guilt and a little convincing (Lady Macbeth) can change a person. However, while it was a good play, it was a little too depressing (Plus we're only reading tragedies in class) I look foward to reading King Lear next week, and I hope we can read some of his comedies in the future!
